High Quality Alumina Ceramic Honeycomb Filter for Steel Industry
Product Description
Honeycomb Ceramic Filter Introduction:
Honeycomb ceramic is new developed ceramic part. As it's features of corrosion resistances, large specific surface area, small heat resistance, good thermal conductivity and excellent thermal-shock resistance, fast heat exchanging and energy saving. It's widely used in many fields. The honeycomb ceramic as the heat exchange media is the key part for heat storing HTAC ( High Temperature Air Combustion) technology. It is the best choice for RTO, heat exchanger and other environmental protection and energy saving products.
Ceramic Honeycomb Filter is a fine strainer with straight hole structure, which provides a cost-efficient alternative to more effective ceramic foam filter. We can produce different size of extruded ceramic filter; They have better handling properties than ceramic foam filters. Honeycomb ceramic filters have already begun to be applied to a lot of casting fields, in order to improve the dependability of casting performance and yield of the casting. By using Al2O3, we independently developedcellularfilters with pore density of 400 porespersquare inches, strength >20mPa, porosity > 20%. The shape of such filters include spherical, polygonal and mesh partition. Due to the strong corrosion-resistant property, high adsorption rate, no fall-off andenhanced durability.
Ceramic Filter Performance:
*The utilization ratio increasing 5-10%
*Casting tired intensity increases by 15.5%
*Thermal shock, Heat impact resistant: Not break cooling from 1200° C by cold water for 5 times
*Coefficient of thermal expansion: (1000° C) 1.6~5.4*10-6/° C
*Compressive strength in the direction of axis >2~5MPa
*Bulk density: ≥ 0.6~1g/cm3, Water absorption25± 2%
Advantages:
*Low pressure drop
*Excellent chemical and thermal durability
*Good thermal shock resistance
*High geometric surface area
*Low expansion coefficie
*Geometrical shape
*High dimensional accuracy
*Maximum service temperature 1450° C, it is applied to grey iron, ductile iron and malleable iron
*Grey iron requires cell diameters of less than or equal to 2 mm, spheroidal graphite iron requires cell diameters of 2 mm and greater
