Product Description
Ceramic filter is widely used in foundry industries of steel, iron, aluminum and copper etc. It is made of cordierite-mullite, and designed with parallel channels and with high porosity. It has the features of strong mechanical strength, good thermal shock performance and fast casting filling time. The utilization of ceramic filter can remarkably increase the casting quality. With unique high-density straight-pore honeycomb structure, excellent thermal shock resistance, high strength and big specific surface area.
Ceramic honeycomb filter is used in filtering molten metal, the working temperature will up to 1450 c. Ceramic filter specifically for filtering molten metal, such as Gray iron, Cast iron, copper, aluminum, alloys, etc. It ensures the metal liquid flowing at stable speed and reduce the vortex, and remove the metal impurity, refractory scrap, solid refractory alloy and sinter in the molten metal liquid. It obviously improves metal structure and appearance quality, reduce the defective index of the casting, prolong the casting working life and reduce the casting cost.
