Cordierite Diesel Particulate Filter looks like catalytic converter cores that have had alternate channels plugged the plugs force the exhaust gas flow through the wall and the particulate collects on the inlet face. Cordierite Diesel particulate filter substrate is also called DPF, is the key component of exhaust system of diesel engine vehicle or machine. It is a kind of wall-flow honeycomb ceramics, made of cordierite ceramics, with features of strong mechanical strength, high open porosity, high soften temperature, low thermal expansivity etc.



DPF monolith is an idea component for diesel soot filter, it has an excellent performance in filtering the fine particulates in the diesel engine exhaust. Cordierite DP is the most used component in the diesel exhaust treatment. A diesel particulate filter removes particulate matter from diesel exhaust by physical filtration. The structure like an emissions catalyst substrate with the channels blocked at alternate ends. The exhaust gasses must therefore flow through the walls between the channels and the particulate matter is deposited on the walls.

Honeycomb ceramic substrate is made of cordierite, and it is used for car catalytic converter. We can supply both ceramic element coated with noble metals of Pt, Pd, Rh and ceramic element without noble metals. The honeycomb ceramic substrate have a very competive substrates. We can produce 100CPSI, 200CPSI, 400CPSI, 600CPSI can be in the shape of round, racetrack and ovral.

Function: Bore wall is thin, the high specific surface area, high strength, low thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal shock resistance and thermal shock resistance, have a good match to the active ingredient and various catalyst
